A great series, as all coins can be obtained in either circulated or uncirculated at a very reasonable price. The values don't get ridiculous until you start trying to collect "full bell line" specimens.

Each Franklin half dollar contains 0.3575 oz silver.

Composition 90% silver 10% copper

Mintage
Philadelphia: 16,802,102
Denver: 9,475,200
San Francisco: 13,696,000
No wear. Full mint luster.
Minimal wear. Some mint luster remains.
Minor wear. Some mint luster may remain. Still great design devices.
The high end of a mid-grade coin. Spent several months in circulation.
Mid grade coin. Nice example. May have some detracting features.
Significant wear, but all devices are recognizable. Not a bad coin at all.
We like to say these coins served their country well! hehe
This coin has been around the block a time or two! Imagine the stories it could tell.
Barely recognizable.
