1928 Peace dollars are the rarest of all to find. The mintage was cut short due the the large amount of Peace Dollars previously minted met the requirements of the Pittman Act. The San Fransisco mint is not as rare as the Philadelphia mint. Do not get excited like many people (including me) thinking a 1923 as a 1928.

No wear. Full mint luster. Minimal wear. Some mint luster remains. Minor wear. Some mint luster may remain. Still great design devices. The high end of a mid-grade coin. Spent several months in circulation. Mid grade coin. Nice example. May have some detracting features. Significant wear, but all devices are recognizable. Not a bad coin at all. We like to say these coins served their country well! hehe This coin has been around the block a time or two! Imagine the stories it could tell. Barely recognizable.
