This was the first year of Peace Dollars. They were initiated to celebrate the end of World War 1 and show the world that we were at peace. 1921 is the second hardest date to find. Each Peace Dollar contains 0.7734 oz of silver. Do not confuse the rarity of this coin with the extremely common 1921 Morgan Dollar.
Mintage
Philadelphia, 1,006,473
No wear. Full mint luster. Minimal wear. Some mint luster remains. Minor wear. Some mint luster may remain. Still great design devices. The high end of a mid-grade coin. Spent several months in circulation. Mid grade coin. Nice example. May have some detracting features. Significant wear, but all devices are recognizable. Not a bad coin at all. We like to say these coins served their country well! hehe This coin has been around the block a time or two! Imagine the stories it could tell. Barely recognizable.
